The Beatrice vintage ring features a moody oval cut Australian sapphire, shouldered either side with two round brilliant cut diamonds.
- Currently an AU size L 1/2
- Can be resized up to a size Q 1/2, down to a size J
- 14ct yellow gold
- Features a centre claw set, oval cut Australian sapphire (approx. 6.5mm x 5mm)
- Features two claw set, round brilliant cut side diamonds either side (approx. 1.2mm each)
Natural Australian sapphires are known for having a deep inky colouring. They are also known to be quite a hardy stone, second to diamond, and equal with ruby. Australian sapphires have really only been available for the past 150 years, being originally found in both Queensland and New South Wales in the early 1850's.
