The Magic of Salt and Pepper Diamonds.

From white, to grey, to black. Fall in love with their speckled galaxy appearance.

That freckled diamond shine.

Salt and pepper diamonds are diamonds with inclusions (read: solids, liquids, or gases that were trapped in a mineral as it formed), that appear black and white.

Unlike a white diamond, a salt and pepper diamond isn't assessed solely on its sparkle. Their appeal lies in their depth - they're mysterious, enigmatic, almost cosmic. In fact, they're often referred to as 'Galaxy Diamonds' for their night-sky appearance.

White diamonds reflect light outward, whereas a salt and pepper diamond draws light in - pulling the spectator into its complex, many-varied depths.

No two salt and pepper diamands are the same, each one unique with their own aesthetic. Some are more light and bright with a speckle of grey, and others are mysteriously dark and moody.

Perfectly imperfect presents.

Each salt and pepper diamond is as unique as a snowflake. No two are the same, so jewellery featuring salt and pepper diamonds is the perfect gift option for those looking to give those they treasure a unique present.

We love salt and pepper diamonds as a metephor - they represent the beauty in imperfection.

We're proud to make our salt & pepper diamond jewellery by hand here in our Brisbane studio. Each piece is made with ethically sourced gold, sourced via our Gold Swap initiative or recycled sterling silver sourced from antique teapots and silverware.

Choosing a new piece made with recycled materials minimises the demand for newly-mined materials. Sparkle, without compromise.
