New finery for you, recyclable materials for us.
Send your old gold on a new adventure.
By swapping your old unwanted gold jewellery, you're reducing the need for newly mined materials.
We'll then melt it down for use in the production of future Molten Store jewellery.
How it works
Gather your jewelleryAs long as your unloved jewellery is solid yellow, white or rose gold, it's good to swap (broken jewellery is fine, too!)
See what it's worthVisit us in store or mail your swappable jewellery to us for an obligation-free assessment.
Swap for store creditSwap your old unwanted jewellery for store credit, & purchase something you love. Yours to use in store or online.
I spy but make it gold.
We confirm if a piece is gold by identifying any hallmarks. A hallmark will tell us what carat gold a piece is.
If no hallmarks are visible, we can X-ray the piece to confirm its gold purity.
Ooh, recent swaps:
A fine ring (2.96 grams of 18ct gold)
A delicate chain (3.99 grams of 22ct gold)
A chunky chain (62.44 grams at 18ct gold)

You can swap any solid gold items, no matter what condition they're in. We accept unloved or broken jewellery, tangled chains, single earrings or just things that are a bit naff. As long as you're happy to wave it farewell & have it smelted, it's good to swap!
Look closely to see if your jewellery has any visible hallmarks. A hallmark is a (very tiny!) stamp that certifies a jewellery piece's metal purity.
The value of your gold jewellery is based on the live global gold price, which you can view here.
We do not credit for gemstones, though we will not deduct the weight of the stones when we weigh your item - so you will be credited for the weight of the stone as if it were solid gold.
Extracting small diamonds from jewellery is a costly exercise (nine times out of ten, the diamonds will break) so we are unable to credit for them.
If your piece of jewellery has a significant stone, we recommend you take your item to a trusted gemstone buyer or consider repurposing it in a custom jewellery piece.
We are not collecting any silver via our Gilt Free initiative as we currently have stockpiles of recycled silver to use in our future jewellery production.
We'll melt down your old jewellery so we can use the gold in the production of our new jewellery.
By using recycled gold, we're able to minimise the demand for newly-mined materials.
We do not purchase unwanted jewellery for cash. Instead, we offer you store credit for you to spend on something you truly love. Your credit can be used on any purchase in store or online.
