For this piece, we chose a low-set solitaire in 18ct yellow gold, allowing the stone to sit close to the hand with a sense of ease. Four rounded claws hold it lightly at the edges, preserving the oval’s uninterrupted line. Along the band, six round white diamonds totalling 0.06ct are hammer-set directly into the gold — flush, integrated, and quiet in their placement.

Selected for their restraint, these diamonds introduce a subtle rhythm of light without competing with the centre stone. Each catches light in passing, while the sapphire’s horizontal orientation offers a gentle counterpoint to their linear spacing.
