We're looking for a Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Manager to join our head office team in Brisbane, Australia.
About us: We're a tight-knit team dedicated to sharing our passion for jewellery with a story. We're vintage jewellery history buffs, and we're obsessed with matching our customers with their dream jewellery pieces. Think of us as the antique store for millennials. Circularity is at the heart of our "why" - we believe in restoring existing jewellery, manufacturing with reclaimed materials, and we're delighted to invite our customers to take part in our closed-loop system via our jewellery swap initiative.
We're a retail business on a mission to connect customers with their dream jewellery, so we're looking for someone who understands the relationship between content output and sales performance. Your mission? To acquire, engage, and convert customers within our omni-channel business.
Reporting to the Operations Manager and Founder, you'll be charged with managing the presentation and performance of our digital assets. You'll take responsibility for the appearance and performance of our website, ensuring the product is visible and marketable. Here, you'll demonstrate out-of-the-box thinking, asking "how can I deliver a truly memorable, meaningful and impactful experience for our online customers?" You'll work with our Operations Manager to ensure ecommerce sales budgets are met while also making sure our brand values are honoured. We're a business that finds success by paying diligent attention to detail, not by resorting to flash sales or quick gimmicks.
We're incredibly proud of our brand, so we're looking for someone who can define and implement marketing strategies that amplify our goodwill, reach, and brand equity.
You'll take the reins on our existing digital channels, and will forge new territory on our behalf in the realms of SEO, SEM, customer referral, and new social platforms. You'll demonstrate a passion for digital marketing, with experience supporting data-driven campaigns and evaluating their performance using sound analysis.
You know success is measured in genuine customer interactions (sales, DMs, foot traffic, clicks) and you'll see our digital touch points for what they are - opportunities for us to reach out and connect a global audience with our local offering of otherworldly finery. You understand that building an email database is akin to making friends - and you love to make friends. You'll have a passion for customer journey workflows, and will know how to reward an engaged customer and re-inspire a defecting customer.
You'll write fluently - you know how to craft copy for web, social, EDM and search, and you'll honour our style guide but will be adept at bringing our brand story and products to life with on-brand copy. You'll liaise with our Creative Asset Manager to ensure content serves the marketing objectives.
We're looking for a self-motivated team player with a growth mindset - someone who has both the ability to intuit the best way forward and the acumen to execute autonomously. You'll develop and roll out marketing campaigns in line with our activations and product calendars.
You'll share our obsession for building a community around our brand and the treasures we unearth, while demonstrating a high standard of professionalism within your role.
You'll have a minimum of three years experience in a similar role where you can demonstrate a commitment to growing a brand's marketing and ecommerce capabilities and results.
An ability to plan ahead but also intuit last-minute selling opportunities, developing reactive marketing campaigns to tight deadlines accordingly.
Experience in executing marketing campaigns and managing performance funnels.
Experience with search marketing, SEO, and site optimization.
Experience with Shopify, Canva, and Facebook Business Manager, Good Adwords, Justuno (or a similar AI conversion tool), and Smartmail (or a similar EDM platform).
Experience with Pinterest advertising, Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram. You'll know how to manage a marketing budget and also know how to optimise for the best ROAS.
Demonstrable skills in content production (photography, video, graphic design) desired but not essential.
