About the role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager and Marketing Manager, you'll be charged with coordinating our website and social media content. Well, technically that's what you'll 'do' - but really, you'll communicate the poetry, purpose and fascination that underscores our brand.
You'll take responsibility for the style and performance of our website copy, ensuring the product is marketable and presented in our brand’s tone of voice across product pages, landing pages, and homepages. We think of every page as an opportunity to teach our customers and audience about our products and why they matter.
You’ll know how to use succinct copy to persuade and inspire, and you’ll be motivated to pen longer form copy that educates and entertains.
You’ll assist the Marketing Manager in ensuring our EDM copy and creative direction is on brand, on message, articulate, and persuasive. That our brand is welcome within someone's inbox is a privledge, so we're keen to send emails that will resonate and strengthen the bond between Molten Store and our customers.
We’re looking for someone who can craft compelling social media content across our existing channels (Facebook and Instagram) and assist us with our debut on Tiktok. Someone who is comfortable having conversations, not just creating captions.
We’re looking for a candidate who can just as readily respond to creative briefs from the Marketing Manager as they can fly solo to generate channel-appropriate content themselves. While we invest a lot of energy in getting organised and on the same page as a team, we're a small business with big goals, so the more of a self-starter you are the better.
You'll know that true success is measured in how your content resonates in genuine customer interactions (sales, DMs, foot traffic, clicks) and you'll see our digital touch points for what they are - opportunities for us to reach out and connect a global audience with our local offering of otherworldly finery.
We're looking for a self-motivated team player with a growth mindset. You'll share our obsession for building a community around our brand and the treasures we unearth, while demonstrating a high standard of professionalism within your role.
You'll have a minimum of two years experience in a similar role where you can demonstrate your writing abilities and knowledge of the content marketing landscape.
Demonstrable skills in content production across photography and video (smartphone or DSLR) and writing for digital platforms (short and long form).
Experience in creating content for and nurturing a community across Tiktok, Instagram, Facebook, blogs, and websites.
Experience using Canva, Google Drive, and Dropbox.
