The composition in detail
A vivid, saturated pink holds steady across the oval surface, with flashes of raspberry and rose emerging as light moves through the stone. The 2.5ct oval-cut spinel is set horizontally, giving it a broader, more grounded presence across the finger.
For this piece, we selected The Ada Ring, our signature three-stone composition in 18ct yellow gold, allowing the richness of the spinel to sit within a warm, reflective frame. Four softly elongated claws secure the centre stone, keeping its outline open while subtly echoing its oval form. Two round brilliant side stones sit close at either side, nestled into the shoulders so they read as part of a continuous line rather than separate elements.
Chosen for its cohesion, this compact arrangement softens the transition between centre and side stones, supporting the width of the horizontal oval while keeping focus on its colour. Beneath, an open basket with petal-like supports and a subtle teardrop detail allows light to pass through the spinel, lifting its tone while introducing a quiet layer of structure. A gently tapered band draws the eye inward, keeping the composition controlled and balanced.
